Pro Tools Direct is committed to getting your order to you quickly, safely, and reliably. This policy outlines everything you need to know about how we ship, our delivery timeframes, and what to do if something goes wrong.

2. Where We Ship

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

We do not currently offer international shipping. If you are based outside the UK and wish to enquire about a delivery, please contact us at hello@protoolsdirect.com and we will do our best to assist.


3. Processing Times

All orders are subject to a processing period before dispatch:

You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.


4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframes once dispatched are as follows:

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak periods, extreme weather, or due to carrier disruptions. We will always communicate any known delays as soon as possible.


5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

  • Free standard delivery may be available on qualifying orders — check our website for current thresholds and promotions
  • Express delivery options are available at an additional charge, displayed at checkout
  • Large or freight items (such as airless paint sprayers) may incur a separate delivery charge, which will be clearly shown before you complete your order

6. Delivery of Large & Heavy Items

Some of our products — including airless paint sprayers and professional equipment — are large, heavy, or require specialist handling. For these items:

  • Delivery will be carried out by a specialist freight or pallet courier
  • You will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery window where required
  • Delivery is typically to kerbside unless an upgraded delivery option (e.g. room of choice) has been selected at checkout
  • Please ensure adequate access is available at your delivery address for large items

7. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing:

  • A link to the carrier's tracking portal

8. Delivery Attempts & Safe Places

If you are not available at the time of delivery:

  • Our carrier may leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour, and will leave a notification card or send an SMS/email alert
  • Some carriers will offer the option to reschedule delivery or redirect to a local collection point via their app or website
  • If a delivery attempt fails and the parcel is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. A redelivery charge may apply

Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are accurate at the time of ordering. We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect information provided by you.


9. Damaged or Lost in Transit

Damaged Items

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please:

  1. Take clear photographs of the outer packaging and the damaged item before opening fully where possible
  2. Contact us at hello@protoolsdirect.com within 48 hours of delivery
  3. Include your order number and photos in your message

We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible and cover all associated return costs.

Lost Parcels

If your tracking shows your order has not moved for an unusual period, or if your estimated delivery date has passed without delivery:

  • Allow 1–2 additional business days in case of carrier delays
  • Contact us at hello@protoolsdirect.com and we will raise an investigation with the carrier on your behalf

We will keep you updated throughout the process and ensure you are not left out of pocket.


10. Incorrect Delivery Address

It is your responsibility to ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of placing your order. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, please contact us at hello@protoolsdirect.com as soon as possible.

We will do our best to amend the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has been processed. We are not liable for failed or misdirected deliveries resulting from an incorrect address provided at checkout.


11. Signature on Delivery

Some orders — particularly higher-value items or large equipment — may require a signature upon delivery. This will be indicated in your dispatch confirmation where applicable.

If you would prefer to waive the signature requirement and authorise the carrier to leave your parcel in a safe place, please contact us before dispatch. Please note that doing so means we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft once the item has been delivered.
